"Take a good look at the title and press eject now if the prospect of heavy duty eardrum bashing scares you, as 'Surgical Removal...' is a pretty apt description of the next 50 minutes. Oh, and did we mention there'd be no sedatives? Pain for pleasure is what Scottish mob Co-Exist - featuring former Medulla Nocte and Murder 1/The Dark Half frontman Paul Catten - deal in. And boy do they make their intensions known from the with the urgent blast beats of 'Urge To Mutilate'. There are harsh, scraping vocals courtesy of Catten, while his mate Q-Ball taking care of death grunts, while drums pummel and harsh yet melodic axes hack up the airwaves. Tracks like 'Teeth Meet Fist', 'Man Beats Man' and (ultimately) 'Stress Related Killing' will have you pissing your pants in fear. The sonic equivelant of a Glasgow kiss. Nice.
